What is FIFA Fantasy?

FIFA Fantasy is the official fantasy football game for the FIFA World Cup 2026 (USA, Canada, Mexico). Pick 15 players from the 32 qualified nations (104 matches total) and earn points based on their real on-pitch performance. Millions play it worldwide, and it's completely free.

The mechanics are similar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but with 48 nations on stage, the timing of transfers and your mix of countries become World Cup-specific strategic decisions.

Key Rules

• Captain: Nominate one of your starting 11 as captain — their points are doubled. If they don't start, the vice-captain is promoted.
• Formation: Field a valid 11 with GK 1 + DF 3-5 + MF 2-5 + FW 1-3. 11 starters + 4 substitutes.
• Transfers: Swap players before each round's deadline. Going over your free transfer limit costs -4 pts per extra transfer.
• Chips: One-shot boosts available during the tournament (Wildcard, Triple Captain, Bench Boost). Timing is everything.
• Per-nation Limit: Maximum 3 players from any single country, so you can't stack all stars from the favorites.

How Scoring Works

Points are awarded automatically based on minutes played, goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, and bonus points. For the full scoring table see the Rules page (kept in sync with the official FIFA Fantasy scoring).
