Biggest Upset: Paraguay vs Germany
The R32 clash saw #41 Paraguay knock out #10 Germany on penalties. The match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes (Julio Enciso headed Paraguay in front late in the first half, Kai Havertz equalised for Germany in the 52nd).
The shootout ended Paraguay 4-3 Germany. GK Orlando Gill made two saves, and Jose Canale converted the sudden-death penalty.
